Asked Rachel to help me related to a financial matter that related to a "past" bankruptcy and we circled around twice in conversations that I explained my situation and she had me sign a contract (contract basically i couldn't get refunded on her services)and pay her a large fee. Paid her fee immediately (within two payments) she substantially took many months to even entertain my issue and answered her on my issue again. She then responded to me that there isn't anything she needed to do, because the lien that was on my old bankruptcy is voided out because that company never had judgement and/or litigation towards me. Understanding i was out the large upfront fee, Rachel suggested when i pulled my two credit reports she could help me evaluate my credit reports in efforts to make up for part of the large fee that i paid her. Thinking it was nice of her and great of her to suggest, i pulled the credit reports and two old creditors started popping up calling my house and my family house (and being rude to us). I solicited Rachel, asking her to help me investigate to the existing creditors that were pursuing me. She says she doesn't get involved with old bankruptcy. even willing to pay her again, she declined me in a condescending way and I truly didn't appreciate her professionalism in the end (even though i had always respected her). My main grievance is, first she should of when i first inquired with her thought of my situation and advised me prior to paying a large fee that was non refundable for NO REASON. Second, when suggesting to someone who had paid money for advisement to do something and then brush off my current need that was created from what she told me to do. Even though I had always had high respect for Rachel, I truly advise against using her services and strongly encourage you to do your homework on any legal firm you choose to represent (I've had a string of bad luck in that subject, because i didn't do my homework).
